Another Delta Gear^® original. As the saying goes, “Desperation breeds creativity” so after we ruined enough maps in the field, we designed our own case – with all the best features! Our map case is water and impact resistant over wide temperature ranges. The PLMC will keep your map from falling apart if it gets wet and you can still write on the case in the rain without the pen smearing. The special polycarbonate shell has a glare-resistant and scratch-resistant coating.

Use the PLMC to mark targets, target reference points, primary routes, alternate routes, rally points, etc. Make tic marks every hundred meters along your route to ensure you don't get lost. If your unit is compromised, simply pull the map out the case and unfold it, or wipe the case clean with an alcohol prep pad.

The map case covers at least 5x5 grid squares on most standard military maps and is sized to fit conveniently in a cargo pocket. The back side has a camouflage cloth pocket to store your protractor and for concealment when not in use. This map case works best for 25 x 30 inch maps or smaller (or maps of similar area). For larger maps photocopy the area you'll be working in and use the photocopy in the map case.
